Carbon Nanotubes are really strong and stiff particles due to their typical organization of carbon atoms. Into resin system, they have a similar effect than fibers have in composite materials and ensure the reinforcement of the matrix and improve its mechanical properties. |
The reinforcement mechanism is highly dependent on the quality of the carbon nanotubes dispersion and the carbon nanotubes/matrix interface.
These two parameters reach their optimum level using the NANO INTM technology developed by Nanoledge.
Carbon nanotubes filled resin resulting from NANOINTM technology enables high energy dissipation in the material under mechanical load offering better performance like high crack growth resistance, fatigue resistance, impact resistance, etc.
